:: Excellthane Custom Screens

Excellthane Screens are interchangeable and easy to replace.

Excellthane Screens last longer, resulting in substantial savings and reduction in down time, improves productivity.

Excellthane Screens cut inventory costs by putting small, light, individual panels and fixing components.

Excellthane has been designing and manufacturing custom polyurethane screens since the early 1998. Our capabilities include the formulation of special urethanes and unique panel designs for specific screening requirements.

Excellthane custom screens fit all conventional screen decks without modification -and cover the complete deck surface. Any vibrating, trommeior static screen can befitted with an Excellthane screen, custom- designed to your end-use or size specification.

Screens can be ordered with or without solid areas for impact resistance, skid bars, deflector bars, and with a flat or curved radius.

Hooked Sections

Excellthane hooked sections quickly interchange with woven wire-cloth or with hooked sections made of other elastomeric materials. This feature allows Excellthane hooked sections to be used in areas or high wear with other sections made of less durable materials.

Bolt-Down Sections

Excellthane bolted sections replace sections made from other elastomeric materials and perforated plate. All bolt holes are countersunk. The bolt heads are further prq1ected from wear by special fastener plugs (optional), available from Excellthane Systems.

Fast and Easy Installations

Modules are quickly and easily installed without special tools. The modular concept allows more frequent replacement of those screens Which, experience greater wear rates; i.e., those at a feed-end.

Modules are held in place with injection molded polyurethane pins and sleeves which are reusable. Our exclusive diverter pins are designed to spread materials over the entire surface of the screen, thus assuring uniform wear.

 1' x 1' Modular Screens

Because precision tooling is used to manufacture Excellthane modular screens, a high degree of screen dimension uniformity is maintained. All screens are perfectly Square. They can be installed quickly and in perfect alignment on screen decks. Screen thickness do not vary, They lie flat for uniform feed distribution and even wear. To further promote uniform wear rates, Excellthane provides exclusive diverter pins which distribute material more uniformly over screening surfaces subjected to irregular feed rates.

Flat Surface Improves Efficiency
The flat surface of Excellthane screens Increases screening efficiency because a uniform depth of bed is maintained across the full width of a vibrating screen.

Change-Out Time is Reduced
Excellent dimensional accuracy in squareness and thickness allow the modular-design Excellthane screens to be installed or replaced in a fraction of the time required for screens made from conventional, urethanes or other materials.

Custom Blending to Spec
Various modular Excellthane screens, with different size openings, allow, the blending of screened materials to almost any specification.

Screens offer performance
features not found in traditional wire-cloth,
rubber or conventional urethanes

Excellthane screens reduce operating costs by reducing downtime and extending mean running time In the screening of coal, coke, copper, crushed stone, gold sand and gravel, lime stone, phosphate and other abrasive materials.

More screen area equals more throughput
With inherently superior strength, Excellthane screens require less blind area for panel support- permitting maximum use of the panel area for screening. The strong panel frame prevents deflection and dishing.

Reduced blinding increases productivity
The elasticity of the Excellthane polymer and a special perture design with self-cleaning tapered sides eliminate or reduce screen plugging and blinding.

Greater wear resistance - wet or dry
Excellthane resists sliding friction and impact abrasion. This built-n resilience typically enables Excellthane screens to outlast wire-cloth 15 to 30 times in wet applications and 10 to 15 times in dry applications.

Quick and easy installations
Lightweight Excellthane screens are designed for quick, easy installations and change-outs. Only conventional hand tools are required.

Longer Screen life reduces downtime
Excellthane screens last longer, require fewer, change-outs, and endure abuses (feed surges, oversize material, even mechanical abuse) that cause other screen to fail.

Unsurpassed corrosion resistance
Excellthane screens resist corrosion from screened materials which cause conventional metal screens to fail.

Significantly reduces noise levels
Because Excellthane dampens impact energy, it reduces noise levels.

Excellent weather stability for outdoor storage
Excellthane screens are not affected by weather extremes. They may be inventoried outdoors.

Standard and custom sizes
Excellthane screens are available in standard and custom sizes to fit any vibrating, trommel or static screen deck and to cover and protect the full surface of the deck frame.
